Wide receiver DeVonta Smith could set an Eagles franchise record Sunday when Philadelphia hosts the Los Angeles Rams in the divisional round of the NFL playoffs (3 p.m. ET, NBC).
With just six more yards in the playoff game, Smith, 26, would become the team's all-time leader in postseason receiving yards.
Since being drafted in the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft, Smith has been an integral part of the team's offense. The 2020 Heisman Trophy winner has two seasons of 1,000+ receiving yards, served as an Eagles captain (2023) and helped the team make it to Super Bowl LVII in just four seasons.
Here's a look at Philadelphia's postseason receiving yard leaders:

For a franchise as storied as the Eagles, it's a bit surprising that a fourth-year player is on the verge of becoming the all-time leader in postseason receiving yards -- or in any category.
Carmichael, who was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2020, played in seven playoff games with the Eagles. Should Smith set the record against the Rams, he would have done so in the same number of postseason games (seven) as Carmichael.
Per the Weather Channel, Smith may not have ideal conditions to set the record Sunday. Snow is expected during the day in Philadelphia, with three to fives inches accumulating.
The focus of Smith and the team will be on defeating the Rams to advance to the NFC Championship Game, but it would be a cool moment if the first-round pick sets the franchise record.
