Watch: Eagles RB Saquon Barkley scores 62-yard TD vs. Rams

Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley continues to cement himself as a playoff performer.

Late in the first quarter of Sunday's divisional-round game against the Los Angeles Rams, Barkley rushed for a 62-yard touchdown, giving the Eagles a 13-7 lead.

According to NFL senior researcher Tony Holzman-Escareno, the big play was Barkley's fifth rushing TD of 60-plus yards this season (including the playoffs). That is the most for any player in a season in league history.

In his first six seasons with the New York Giants, Barkley played in two playoff games. On 18 carries, he rushed for 114 yards and two touchdowns.

Despite his lack of postseason experience, it's not surprising that he's still carrying Philadelphia's offense.

The 27-year-old may be having the best year of his career. In 16 regular-season games, he recorded a career-high 2,283 yards (2,005 rushing and 278 receiving). Plus, he made the Pro Bowl and earned a first-team All-Pro nod.
