Watch: Eagles RB Saquon Barkley ices game with 78-yard TD run vs. Rams

A snowstorm couldn't stop Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley from making a house call in Sunday's divisional-round matchup against the Los Angeles Rams.

Late in the fourth quarter of Philadelphia's home game, the Eagles handed the ball to Barkley on a 1st-and-10 at their 22-yard line. He burst through a huge hole and scored a 78-yard touchdown, giving the Eagles a 28-15 lead. (Philadelphia kicker Jake Elliott missed the extra-point attempt.)

Clearly, Barkley isn't a fair-weather RB. According to Next Gen Stats, he clocked a top speed of 20.78 MPH on the 78-yard TD.

Late in the first quarter against L.A., when it wasn't snowing, Barkley recorded the same speed on a 62-yard TD run.

Although the Rams scored one more TD, Barkley's big TD run sealed a 28-22 win for the Eagles. The RB finished with 26 carries for 205 rushing yards and two rushing scores.

Philadelphia will host the Washington Commanders in the NFC Championship Game next Sunday, where it should continue to lean on Barkley.
