Even in the mid-major conferences, some pretty memorable moments can occur in college basketball. Thursday night, Atlantic Sun Conference program Stetson pulled off a last-second win with a miracle play.
Down two points with just three seconds remaining in regulation, Hatters junior Mehki Ellison drained a halfcourt shot at the buzzer to give his team the 67-66 victory.

The game wasn't a battle between conference juggernauts by any means, but Ellison's shot earned Stetson just its sixth win of the 2024-25 season.
His 15 points led the team, which had a commanding lead for most of the contest until Eastern Kentucky rallied late to take the lead with just under two minutes remaining.
It was a heartbreaking way for the Colonels to lose at home, dropping them to 9-11 and having now lost three of their last four games. Stetson has now won two in a row, perhaps kicking off the momentum it needs to make a late-season charge in the Atlantic Sun.
