Orlando led by 12 with 6:27 to play in regulation, but a 17-5 run in regulation forced OT, then the two teams needed 10 extra minutes to decide a winner. Magic ran out of steam.
Magic and Heat split the season series 2-2.
Four of the five Miami starters were in double figures, led by Tyler Herro with 30 points. Both Bam Adebayo (26 points, 10 rebounds) and Kel'el Ware (19 points, 10 rebounds) finished with a double-double.
Nikola Jovic finished with 15 points for Miami and came up huge in the fourth quarter and both overtime periods. Terry Rozier was the sixth Miami player in double figures with 11 points.
