Caitlin Clark has changed life for the Indiana Fever since arriving at Gainbridge Fieldhouse and lifting the franchise back into playoff contention.

The Fever have since undergone some changes by electing to part ways with head coach Christie Sides and bringing in 2023 WNBA Coach of the Year Stephanie White.

With the league's free-agency period about to start heating up, Indiana has some decisions to make on All-Star guard Kelsey Mitchell — who averaged a career-high 19.2 PPG last season.

In a recent interview with 247's David Eickholt, Clark talked about the Fever's upcoming campaign.

While she would love to see Mitchell back in Indiana, there's another player she also has her eye on who she thinks would look great in the navy, red and gold: former Hawkeyes teammate Kate Martin.

"Now she's getting a little more run, and getting to play, and playing free," Clark said of the Valkyries' expansion draftee. "I think people are just seeing her confidence grow and grow. So just like I said, I'm really happy for her, and hopefully I can recruit her to the Fever somehow, some way one day, who knows? I'm gonna try to figure that out."

"That's my goal at some point in my career, to team up with Kate again," Clark smiled. "But we'll see if that happens."

While Eickholt liked the idea of Clark and Martin teaming up in the pros, he also suggested to the ROTY that it might be more fun to play against her instead.

"That's true. We need to have that little beef and that little battle, so we might have to keep her away from us just so we can keep going at her," Caitlin replied.

It would definitely be cool to see the Iowa duo play for the same side again — whether in the WNBA or the newly formed Unrivaled — but time will tell.
