Following the horrible plane crash in Washington D.C., many are reflecting on the tragedy, including Bubba Wallace. The NASCAR star sent out a heartfelt message on his social media account.
The American Airlines flight had 60 passengers and four crew members on board Wednesday night. As the plane was attempting to land at Ronald Reagan National Airport, it collided with a Black Hawk helicopter.
Bubba Wallace had a few words to say about the tragic accident as he prepares for the Clash at Bowman Gray this weekend.
“Been thinking about the tragedy in DC all night and morning,” Wallace wrote on X/Twitter. “So sad! Enjoy the small things, love hard, laugh loud! Never know when it can be your last. Sending all the love their way!”

U.S. Figure Skating has confirmed that members of the figuring skating community were aboard the flight. They were returning from the National Development Camp as part of the U.S. Figure Skating Championships in Wichita, Kansas.
This crash has shaken the D.C. community and the nation. Crews were looking late into the night for survivors. Recovery operations are ongoing.
