Another day, another franchise-altering blockbuster trade in the NBA.
The latest deal is a three-team trade that sends point guard De'Aaron Fox to the San Antonio Spurs, where he will team up with emerging superstar Victor Wembanyama to be the foundation of a franchise for the foreseeable future.
The Chicago Bulls are also involved in this deal and are sending Zach LaVine to the Kings as part of the trade.
The full trade is as follows, via ESPN's Shams Charania:
Spurs get: De'Aaron Fox, Jordan McLaughlin
Kings get: Zach LaVine, Sidy Cissoko, three first-round picks (Charlotte's 2025 pick, San Antonio's 2027 pick and Minnesota's 2031 pick), three second-round picks (Chicago's 2025 pick, Denver's 2028 pick, and its own pick back in 2028).
Bulls get: Zach Collins, Tre Jones, Kevin Huerter, their own 2025 pick from Sacramento.

There is a lot to unpack in this one.
The most notable part is the fact San Antonio now has another bona fide star to team up with Wembanyama. As soon as Fox's name surfaced on the trade market it was rumored that the Spurs were at the top of his preferred destination list, and now he is there.
Fox is an elite scorer, averaging 25.0 points per game, 6.1 assists and 5.0 rebounds.
For the Kings, it is fascinating to see their return here when compared to what the Dallas Mavericks received for Luka Doncic on Saturday night. While LaVine is not the player that Anthony Davis is, they still managed to not only get a really good player back in return, but they also beefed up their draft pick capital with several future first-and second-round picks.
It also reunites LaVine and former Bulls teammate DeMar DeRozan.
