There are few scenes in golf quite like the 16th hole at the Waste Management Phoenix Open.
On Friday, Emiliano Grillo gave the stadium crowd assembled at the hole a reason to absolutely lose their minds when he hit a slam dunk ace.

Even though the par-3 hole is roughly 140 yards, shockingly short for a PGA hole, there had only been 11 aces on that hole in the history of the tournament.
That changed here with Grillo's shot on Friday.
The 16th hole is probably the closest thing the PGA Tour has to a scene out of "Happy Gilmore," with a raucous crowd that throws out all of the sophistication and decorum that golf crowds are typically supposed to have. It is full of college-aged kids and young adults who have no doubt had plenty of liquid encouragement throughout the day, wildly cheering shots that hit the green and relentlessly booing shots that do reach it. Or worse, land in the sand trap.
Every once in a while, you get a situation like this, which sends the frenzy to an even higher level.
