Five most intriguing races on the 2025 NASCAR Xfinity Series schedule

The 2025 NASCAR Xfinity Schedule has seen quite a few shake-ups. 33 races make up the 2025 schedule. Here are the five most intriguing races on the calendar for NASCAR's second-tier series.

5. United Rentals 300 at Daytona (Feb. 15)

This race makes the list for two simple reasons: it's the season-opening race and it's Daytona. Daytona will always be the most prestigious race in any NASCAR series, and the race is everyone's first chance to see what the Xfinity Series has in store this season. In quintessential Daytona fashion, expect a carnage-filled season-opener that only a few drivers come out of unscathed.

4. World Wide Technology Raceway (Sept. 6)

For the first time since 2010, the Xfinity Series field will travel to St. Louis to take on this 1.25-mile oval. The race isn't just a return to Gateway, however — it will serve as the 26th and final race of the regular-season. A lot will be at stake in this race for every driver still fighting to make the postseason.

3. Pacific Office Automation 147 at Portland (Aug. 30)

The Xfinity Series has raced at Portland for the last three seasons, but the placement of this race makes it especially interesting. This year, Portland will serve as the 25th race of the Xfinity Series season, and the second-to-last race of the regular-season. Road courses tend to lend themselves to chaos, and this could be a chance for an underdog to spoil the playoff picture in a big way.

2. Mexico City, June 14

Like the series' return to St. Louis, the return to Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez in Mexico City on June 14 will throw a new wrinkle into the Xfinity Series schedule. The Xfinity Series last raced in Mexico City in 2008. It's only fitting that the Xfinity Series accompanies the Cup Series on the international trip.

1. North Carolina Education Lottery 250 at Rockingham, April 19

Rockingham hasn't hosted a race in any NASCAR series since the Truck Series paid a visit in 2013. The last Xfinity Series race at the track was held in 2004, and the return of 'The Rock' has many fans excited. A stacked Xfinity Series field will be joined by 18-time Cup Series winner Kasey Kahne for the track's return. Kahne won the last Cup Series race at Rockingham in 2004.
