No. 25 Ole Miss appeared to be on its way to a road loss in Baton Rouge on Saturday night until a frenetic run in the final three minutes flipped the script.
Trailing 70-59 with 3:15 remaining, Ole Miss went on a 13-0 run. After guard Sean Pedulla missed a potential game-winning layup, guard Dre Davis was in perfect position for the tip-in to seal the 72-70 comeback win for the Rebels.

Ole Miss trailed by as many as 11 during the game and shot 37.7% from the floor. That was after the Rebels put up 98 points on No. 14 Kentucky on Tuesday and shot 54.7%.
Per The Field of 68, LSU had a 98.2% chance of winning the game when it led 70-59. Free throws had a lot to do with LSU's inability to close out the upset, considering the Tigers only made 12 of their 25 attempts.
Since Ole Miss took down a fourth-ranked Alabama team on Jan. 14, it has seen mixed results with a 3-4 record. Having faced five ranked opponents during that seven-game span, it took a furious comeback and a lack of execution from the Tigers (12-11, 1-9 SEC) for Ole Miss to come away with the victory on Saturday.
Despite the adversity the team faced against LSU, Ole Miss (18-6, 7-4 SEC) found a way to rally late and cap an unbeaten week of SEC play, which is more than most teams in the loaded conference can say.
