Continuing a tradition that dates back to 1987, Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts left the good vibes of Sunday night’s Super Bowl victory behind and found himself in "The Most Magical Place on Earth" the following afternoon.
"I’m going to Disney World," he said after being named MVP of Super Bowl LIX. In a game where the Kansas City Chiefs held running back Saquon Barkley to 57 rushing yards, Hurts went 17-of-22 for 221 yards and a pair of touchdowns while rushing for another score via the team's signature "tush push" play.

Hurts also established a Super Bowl record for the most rushing yards (72) by a quarterback to help carry Philadelphia to a 40-22 victory over Kansas City.
Or as Joe Kepner, public relations manager for Disney Parks Blog puts it, "It was Eagles domination from start to finish and a performance that is truly worthy of magical celebration."
Hurts is only the second Philadelphia Eagle to lead a parade down Main Street, USA at Magic Kingdom since quarterback Nick Foles had the honor following the team’s victory over the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LII.
The Disney World tradition started back in 1987 when New York Giants quarterback Phil Simms first made the announcement following Super Bowl XXI. Fans would need a ticket to watch Hurts host this year’s activities, but not so for the team’s victory parade, which is expected to be held on Friday.
