Just two days after falling out of the AP Top 25 for the first time this season, the Connecticut Huskies bounced back in a big way, knocking off newly-ranked No. 24 Creighton, 70-66.
The win for UConn was its first ever on the road against the Bluejays.

38 and 10 as UConn beats Creighton.
A massive road win for the Huskies. https://t.co/ZI7GiehFUD
UConn trailed by as many as 14 points in the first half and could've easily rolled over and called it a night in a hostile environment. Liam McNeeley decided he wasn't going to let that happen.
As you can see above, McNeeley had the best performance of his young college career in the Huskies win.
His 38 points were the most in a game by a freshman in UConn history, surpassing Richard Hamilton's mark of 31 points back in 2001.
Solo Ball (11 points) and Alex Karaban (10 points) were both in double figures despite shooting a combined 9-for-33 from the field and 0-for-11 from three-point range.

66 points for Creighton was its fourth lowest in Big East play and the second time in four games it has been held under 70 points.
The usually efficient Steven Ashworth was just 1-for-8 (12.5%) from the field but still managed to finish with 13 points due to making 11 free throws. Ashworth had made three or more shots from the field in every game this season until Tuesday's loss.
Ryan Kalkbrenner was held to 13 points, a little below his season average of 19.2 points per game.

UConn will matchup against Seton Hall on Saturday and Villanova before a highly-anticipated rematch against No. 9 St. John's on Feb. 23.
Creighton will get a crack at that same St. John's team first on Saturday and will look to sweep the season series over the red-hot Red Storm.
