USA Hockey has an illustrious history in international tournaments and several iconic moments to document it.
American forward Brady Tkachuk earned he and his father, Keith Tkachuk, their own historic moment with his first period goal against Team Finland on Thursday.
Tkachuk slipped the puck past goaltender Juuse Saros to even things at 1-1 in the teams' 4 Nations Face-Off opener.

The score made Tkachuk and his father just the fourth father-son duo in history to score at an NHL international tournament.
They join Peter and Leon Draisaitl (Team Germany), Matti and Niklas Hagman (Team Finland) and Bobby and Brett Hull (Team USA) on that list.
Brady's brother Matthew is also playing for Team USA at the 4 Nations Face-Off and could join that list too with a goal of his own.
The tournament will run through Feb. 20 and replaces the traditional All-Star competition this season. The two teams with the most points after a round-robin will play for the championship trophy.
