Parker Kligerman disqualified, Corey Heim awarded Truck Series Daytona win

What was an endearing underdog win has turned into a heartbreaking defeat.

Parker Kligerman initially won Friday's NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race at Daytona International Speedway, but post-race inspection found his No. 75 truck to be too low, resulting in his disqualification. Corey Heim, who originally finished runner-up to Kligerman, has been awarded the victory. Kligerman and the No. 75 team will be given a last-place finish, and will not be awarded the two stage points they earned in Stage 2.

The victory is the 12th of Heim's Truck Series career and locks him into the 2025 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series playoffs. Kligerman's disqualification also bumps every driver in the field up one spot in the final results. Truck Series rookie Gio Ruggiero — who made his Truck Series debut in Friday's race — is now credited with the runner-up spot.

Justin Haley now rounds out the top-five, with Frankie Muniz earning a 10th-place finish as a result of the disqualification.

The 2025 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series season will continue at Atlanta Motor Speedway with the Fr8 208 on Feb. 22.
