Watch: Hard crash takes out leader of NASCAR Truck Series race at Daytona

Only four laps into the 2025 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series season, Kaden Honeycutt took a wild ride.

Honeycutt started eighth in Friday's race and worked his way up to the top-five in the opening laps. On lap four, Honeycutt took the lead, maneuvering around the ThorSport Racing duo of Ben Rhodes and Ty Majeski.

Unfortunately, Honeycutt's race came to an end just a few moments after he took the lead.

Honeycutt's No. 45 Chevrolet Silverado got loose on the exit of turn four, spinning around on the corner exit. After running at 190 mph, Honeycutt was unable to slow down his truck enough to avoid hitting the inside wall. The resultant contact was enough to knock Honeycutt and the No. 45 team out of the race.

Honeycutt is running the full Truck Series season with Niece Motorsports in 2025. He'll head to the second race of the season at Atlanta Motor Speedway in an early points hole.
