LSU guard Cam Carter produced the highlight of the Tigers' season with an unreal seven points during a 12-second sequence in a come-from-behind 82-79 road win at Oklahoma.
The Sooners led 79-74 when Spencer drained a three and was fouled out of a timeout, putting the Tigers down one, 79-78, with 20.9 seconds left.

LSU forced a turnover moments after, when fifth-year senior guard Dji Bailey deflected a pass from Oklahoma senior forward Jalon Moore.
Carter got the ball, hit a driving layup and was fouled again to complete a three-point play with 8.4 seconds remaining, putting LSU up for good.

LSU (13-12, 2-10 in SEC) entered Saturday with little to cheer for this season. The Tigers had lost seven in a row, including a heartbreaking 72-70 loss at home to Associated Press No. 19 Ole Miss (19-7, 8-5 in SEC) last Saturday.
LSU led by nine, 70-61, with two minutes remaining before the Rebels ended the game on an 11-0 run.
It made up for that collapse with Spencer's late-game heroics. As for Oklahoma (16-9, 3-9 in SEC), the loss should move the program closer to the wrong side of the cut line in the men's 68-team NCAA Tournament.
According to ESPN bracketologist Joe Lunardi, the Sooners entered the weekend projected to have one of the last four byes.
Oklahoma has lost four in a row and is 1-6 against ranked SEC opponents. With its next five games coming against currently-ranked conference teams, the loss to LSU could be one of several disappointments on its horizon.
