The nation's longest losing streak in college basketball is finally over.
On Sunday, the Green Bay men's basketball program defeated Wright State at home 79-68. It's the program's first win in its last 22 attempts dating back to Nov. 19.
First-year head coach Doug Gottlieb jokingly took burning sage around the court pre-game in an effort to ward off whatever higher power might have been holding his group back.
On Friday - Doug Gottlieb (@GottliebShow) went around saging the entire gym to get the negative energy out & try to snap the nations longest losing streak.

The Phoenix (3-24) earned their first Horizon League win since Gottlieb took the reins of the program.
Gottlieb, 49, is also the host of a national sports talk radio show "The Doug Gottlieb Show" on Fox Sports, creating an unusual dynamic in an already unusual era of college athletics.
"It's not earth-shattering to [say] there are points in which you question, 'should I have done this? Like what am I doing?'" Gottlieb told The Athletic of his unique employment situation.
Green Bay, tied with Bellarmine for the second-worst record in Division I this season, will look to win consecutive games for the first time since February when it faces Robert Morris on Friday.
