The NFL Scouting Combine kicks off on Monday, with prospects participating in drills from Feb. 27-March 2.
The year's most notable prospects will be attendance, but what about less high-profile talent?
Here are five players who might not be household names but are worth knowing before the combine begins.
The home of Super Bowl XLVII champion quarterback Joe Flacco, Delaware hasn't produced an NFL Draft pick since the Chargers selected free safety Nasir Adderley in the second round (No. 60 overall) of the 2019 NFL Draft.
Since the AFL/NFL merger, 15 Delaware players have been selected in the NFL Draft — and only one running back (Dan Reeder, 1985), per Stathead.
Yarns has traits that will translate to the NFL. What immediately jumps out watching his tape is his speed. On the following 75-yard touchdown, Reel Analytics clocked Yarns reaching a max speed of 21.8 mph.

Prefer a back who can run in between the tackles and gain yards after contact? Yarns does that, too.
He scored a 66-yard touchdown against Penn State in 2023 on an inside handoff, accelerating as he hit the second level.

On the following two plays, Yarns broke runs up the middle for big gains after being hit, including a 30-yard touchdown against Saint Francis when he gained 25 yards after contact.

He's also a capable receiver, adding to his value. Here's Yarns scoring on a shuffle pass against Albany and on a wheel route against Villanova.

Walker introduced himself to a national audience at the Senior Bowl, where he displayed the same abilities that made him the 2024 Buck Buchanan Award winner, given annually to the best FCS defensive player.
Walker had 30 sacks in three seasons at Central Arkansas, but that wasn't solely the product of him playing below his weight class.
He was a force during a 2022 game against Ole Miss, making several plays to impact quarterback Luke Altmyer.
#Bears fans looking for a sleeper EDGE in the 2024 NFL Draft, I recommend David Walker from Central Arkansas.
— Jacob Infante (@jacobinfante24) June 20, 2023
12 sacks and 22 TFL last year. Had good tape against Ole Miss — quick off the ball with good pad level and power. He’s my top FCS defender right now. pic.twitter.com/xPTVkaVQwd
Walker has a great initial burst, as shown on the following rep against North Dakota State, when he easily blew past his blocker and picked up a sack.

Here's some highlights of what he did against #NDSU last September. pic.twitter.com/jnlfeTVvEl
He has an exceptional motor, displayed on this run-play stop when he chased the ball-carrier and tackled him from behind.
If Vegas set lines for the sickos on which sub-FBS defensive prospect gets drafted first in April, Central Arkansas EDGE David Walker would be odds-on favorite.

Checkout Walker hereoff left side. Blows past LT before he's even out of his stance, flattens, & aggressively rakes… https://t.co/pWFOyRA1V1 pic.twitter.com/N3lJAC0plU
Walker had an even more ridiculous chase-down tackle when he sprinted 50 yards and caught Arkansas Pine Bluff receiver Kristian Gammage before he could reach the end zone.

Nash's age — he enters the 2025 draft as a sixth-year senior — might scare off teams, but that only adds to his value.
The former quarterback recruit could be one of the best value picks of the NFL Draft after securing the receiving triple crown in 2024, finishing first in FBS in receptions (104), receiving yards (1,382) and receiving touchdowns (16).
Nash does an outstanding job of high-pointing the ball on his receptions, such as this excellent touchdown catch against Washington State.

His ability to go vertical also helps him on end-zone fades and back-corner throws, leading to touchdowns against Stanford and Boise State.

The 2024 Mountain West Defensive Player of the Year, Woodard had 135 total tackles (17 for loss), 3.5 sacks and four interceptions for the Rebels in 2024 as a fifth-year senior.
Woodard has exceptional speed, working from his left inside linebacker spot to an opening on the right side of Houston's offensive line for a sack early in 2024.

Woodard also has excellent coverage skills. Per Pro Football Focus data, his 11 pass breakups were the most by a linebacker. Against Syracuse, he remained with a running back stride-for-stride and picked off quarterback Kyle McCord in the red zone.

Another Senior Bowl standout, whichever NFL team drafts Stout will get one of the most physical defensive backs in this year's class.

Stout's fast processing also helped him make game-changing interceptions, including a pick-six against Austin Peay in 2022 and, even more impressive, a goal-line interception against Troy when he followed his receiver in motion across the field pre-snap before creating the turnover.
