On Feb. 25, 2024, Kyle Busch came excruciatingly close to winning the Ambetter Health 400 at Atlanta Motor Speedway, finishing third in a three-wide photo finish.
In Saturday's NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race, Busch got redemption — at least, partially.
Busch earned the 67th win of his Truck Series career and his 232nd win in the top-three series of NASCAR by 0.017 seconds over runner-up Stewart Friesen in a thrilling finish that came down the mere feet.

The win is Busch's first Truck Series win since April 12, 2024, at Texas Motor Speedway, and his second consecutive Truck Series win at AMS. Busch has now won in eight of his 15 Truck Series starts at Atlanta.
While a Truck Series win doesn't equate to a Cup Series victory, it can provide some closure and confidence for Busch headed into Sunday's Ambetter Health 400, in which Busch will look to break a career-long Cup Series winless streak of 58 races.
After the race, Busch was asked if his performance on Saturday would help him in Sunday's Cup race.
"No, these things are a lot different than the (Cup) cars are," Busch told Fox Sports. "All in all, (I'm) just going out here and getting laps. Speedway racing is speedway racing. There's a lot of luck involved."
Busch's drive on Saturday was one of the more impressive performances in recent memory for the two-time Cup Series champion, who made several daring moves to take the lead back from his competitors in the race's closing laps.
Busch will go for a weekend sweep in Sunday's Ambetter Health 400, which will go green shortly after 3 p.m. ET. Coverage will be provided by Fox, PRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.
