Going into Tuesday nights matchup against No. 3 Florida, the Georgia Bulldogs had lost nine of their last 11 games, were 4-10 in conference play and were on the outside looking in the NCAA Tournament bubble.
That has now all went away and been forgotten about as the Bulldogs shocked the college basketball world with an 88-83 win over the Gators.

The 88 points for Georgia was its most since scoring an even 100 against Buffalo all the back in the middle of December. 51 first half points for the Bulldogs were enough to allow for a not so explosive second half and still be able to hang on for the win.
Georgia was elite from three-point range, going 10-for-18 (55.6%) the best performance of the season in that department. Florida on the other hand, shot just 11-for-32 (34.4%), a costly shooting night for the Gators.

Florida's Will Richard led the game in scoring with 30 points. The 30 points are a season high for Richard and his most in a game since a 26-point performance in December.
Walter Clayton was also in double figures for the Gators with 18 points. Outside of those two, the three other Florida starters combined for just 17 points.

Florida will have to bounce back quickly as its next two games are against No. 12 Texas A&M on Saturday and No. 6 Alabama.
Georgia does not face any more ranked opponents in the regular season, and it will have a chance to finish the season on a high note with a couple more wins.
