With Oklahoma leading, 82-81, with 20 seconds left after senior Jalon Moore hit two free throws, Kentucky's Otega Oweh — who played his first two seasons at Oklahoma — scored the game-winning layup with six seconds remaining before rushing down the court to block freshman Jeremiah Fears' potential buzzer-beater to seal the dramatic victory.

Oweh completely took over the game down the stretch against his former team. The junior scored 21 of Kentucky's last 23 points en route to a career-high 28 points (12-of-21 FG).
These three plays late in the game from Oweh were crucial down the stretch as the Wildcats and Sooners went back-and-forth in a thrilling affair.

This was a major bounce back for Oweh after a disappointing two-point game against then-No. 4 Alabama on Saturday — his first game all season without scoring in double digits.
While the loss was a blow to Oklahoma's NCAA Tournament hopes after coming into the game as one of ESPN Bracketology expert Joe Lunardi's last four in, it represented some much-needed momentum for Kentucky.
With senior guards Lamont Butler (left shoulder) and Jaxson Robinson (right hand) returning in limited minutes on Wednesday, Oweh completely took over and willed his team to a confidence-building victory ahead of a huge showdown against No. 1 Auburn on Saturday.
