Toronto Maple Leafs forward Matthew Knies didn't waste time settling a grudge on Wednesday night.
As soon as the puck was dropped for his team's tilt with the Las Vegas Golden Knights, Knies immediately dropped the gloves with defenseman Zach Whitecloud.
Most hockey fights involve a healthy back-and-forth, but this one was a particularly one-sided affair.

Knies wailed on Whitecloud repeatedly with his left hand, leaving the defenseman with little opportunity to get any swings of his own in before the two ended up on the ice.
The early fight was Knies' form of revenge for an injury he suffered from a high hit he took from Whitecloud in November. He was forced to miss time as a result.
Knies found hockey justice for his earlier grievance.
