Jordan Spieth is doing Jordan Spieth things early on at the Players Championship.
After sticking his approach shot to a foot and making a birdie on the par-4 10th hole, his first hole of the day, Spieth chipped in for an eagle on the par-5 11th to begin the tournament 3 under through two.

That was only the beginning of an eventful front 9 for Spieth.
After back-to-back pars on 12 and 13, the American pumped his tee shot in the water on the par-4 14th hole and made a double bogey. He followed that up with a sloppy bogey on the par-4 15th hole to return to even par.
Spieth chipped in for an eagle again on the par-5 16th hole just when you thought the round was getting away from him. Make that two chip-in eagles for Spieth in his first seven holes of the Players Championship.
ANOTHER ONE

Not one, but TWO eagle hole-outs on the day for Jordan Spieth. pic.twitter.com/I8zWr9R9L9
The 31-year-old closed out his front 9 with a three-putt bogey on the par-3 17th hole and a birdie on the brutally tough par-4 18th hole. Add it all up, and it's a 2-under 34 for Spieth to kick off the tournament.
This is Spieth's fifth start since returning from a wrist injury that knocked him out for the second half of last season. The three-time major champion has finished T69, T4, cut and T9 in four starts this year. He hopes to make the cut at the Players Championship for the third time in his last six trips to TPC Sawgrass.
With the early wave nearly halfway through the round, 45-year-old Lucas Glover currently holds the outright lead at 4 under par. He's followed by five players at 3 under, and Spieth is right behind that group as he begins his back 9.
