To mark the occasion, the organization shared its traditional victory video on social media, giving us exclusive access to what happened inside the Canadiens locker room after the game.
We were treated to a special moment involving Patrik Laine, who is usually very reserved but took the time to give a short speech and present the team's victory goggles to none other than Lane Hutson.

It's worth noting that Martin St-Louis' squad secured a 6-3 victory last Tuesday night, earning two crucial points in the NHL playoff race.
In the win, Josh Anderson scored twice, Christian Dvorak tallied one goal and three assists, while Brendan Gallagher also had a three-point night (one goal and two assists).
Special mention to Lane Hutson and Nick Suzuki, who scored two huge goals in the third period.
After Tuesday night, especially with the losses suffered by the New York Rangers and the Detroit Red Wings, fans can truly start believing in the playoffs for Montreal, which is incredible.
The Canadiens' next game will take place Thursday night in from Long Island against Patrick Roy's New York Islanders.
It will be another massive game in the playoff race.
