Sunday's Straight Talk Wireless 400 was another example of Kyle Larson being Kyle Larson.
The 2021 Cup Series champion ran fourth with under 20 laps to go at Homestead-Miami Speedway, but a fast long-run car and his ability to run the top of the track better than any driver in the field proved to be the difference.
After making relatively quick work of Chase Briscoe and Bubba Wallace, Larson made his way into second behind race leader Alex Bowman. With seven laps to go, Bowman hit the wall in Turn 3, opening a door for an opportunistic Larson.

It was all she wrote from there, as Larson cruised into the Miami sunset to win his first race of 2025 and the 30th of his Cup Series career. The win is Larson's second at Homestead-Miami.

Bowman, Wallace, Briscoe and Denny Hamlin rounded out the top five, with Chris Buescher, AJ Allmendinger, Tyler Reddick, Ryan Preece and Justin Haley completing the top 10.
Other notable finishers include William Byron in 12th, Joey Logano in 14th, Josh Berry in 17th, Chase Elliott in 18th and Christopher Bell in 29th.
After blowing an engine on Lap 207, Ryan Blaney — who won Stage 1 and led 124 laps — was relegated to a 36th-place finish. Carson Hocevar suffered mechanical issues early in the race and finished last in 37th.
