Ole Miss star's grandmother goes viral during women's NCAA Tournament

Ole Miss advanced to the Sweet 16 of the women's NCAA Tournament with a 69-63 win over Baylor on Sunday, and we can almost guarantee you no one is more excited about that than Madison Scott's grandmother.

Scott had 14 points, two rebounds, two assists and two steals while helping to lead No. 5-seeded Ole Miss to a victory over No. 4-seeded Baylor. The senior guard hit one of the biggest shots of the game when she gave the Rebels a 63-61 lead with 40.4 seconds remaining.

Following the clutch jumper, Scott's grandmother was shown on the ESPN broadcast looking fired up.

Scott's grandmother was even more animated earlier in the half. She went crazy after Scott hit a shot to put Ole Miss on top 54-48 with 7:39 remaining.

You can't beat that type of support from a family member during the NCAA Tournament, let alone your grandmother.

Scott has been excellent all season for Ole Miss. She won the 2025 Gillom Trophy earlier in March, which is given annually to the best women's basketball player in the state of Mississippi.

Scott will have plenty of new fans by the time the tournament ends, but don't expect any of them to be louder than her grandmother.
