Cam Ward put on a show for scouts and executives at his Miami pro day on Monday, and the star quarterback had a confident message for one particular team during the event.
Ward gave NFL teams an up-close look at the quick release, elite arm strength and great timing that made him one of the best quarterbacks in the country throughout his five-year college career. Some of the deep throws he made were enough to make jaws drop.
On one play after he rolled to his left and delivered a strike, Ward turned to Tennessee Titans president of football operations Chad Brinker and general manager Mike Borgonzi and appeared to say something.

Ward was later asked about the exchange in an interview with NFL Network. He said he had a simple four-word message for the Titans' brass.
"I said, 'I'm solidifying it today.' And they know what I said. I made sure they heard me," Ward revealed.

Ward may have done exactly as he said. The signs continue to point to the Titans leaning toward Ward with the No. 1 overall pick in the draft. If they were on the fence before Monday, Ward may very well have solidified their decision.
Ward threw for 4,313 yards, 39 touchdowns and seven interceptions in his senior season with the Hurricanes. He also rushed for 204 yards and four touchdowns. Will Levis has not looked like the answer for the Titans, so they will likely have a difficult time passing on Ward.
