Coach Prime will remain in Boulder, Colorado, for the foreseeable future.
Deion Sanders and Colorado agreed to a five-year extension worth $54 million, which runs through the 2029 season and will make him one of the nation's highest-paid coaches.

Sanders's average annual salary of $10.8 million is the highest for any coach in Colorado football history, surpassing former head coach Karl Dorrell's $3.6 million per year.
Sanders is 13-12 in two seasons at Colorado, and this will be his first season coaching at the collegiate level without one of his sons on the team. He coached his sons, Shedeur and Shilo Sanders, at Jackson State and Colorado.
Colorado's Deion Sanders will earn an average of $10.8 million during his 5-year contract. That is triple the average of the highest-paid coach in CU history prior to his arrival: Karl Dorrell, at $3.6 million per year. #cubuffs

Both Shedeur and Shilo have left the program, and Colorado will enter a new era without either of the Sanders boys on the team.
Coach Prime's name was popular during this year's NFL head-coaching cycle, and even with the extension, it would not be surprising for his name to be mentioned again next season. His deal includes multiple buyouts, per Pro Football Talk.
If Deion is given the opportunity to coach his son in the NFL, he will likely accept and begin to build his legacy not as a player but as a coach.
