Miami Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel insists they're not trading wide receiver Tyreek Hill, even though his social media posts are raising questions about his future in Miami.
On Sunday, Hill posted multiple cryptic tweets, igniting trade rumors. However, on Monday, the WR tweeted, "Another false narrative," to an account that claimed he wants to be traded to a playoff team.
"I can certainly say with certainty that at this certain moment [Hill won't be traded]," McDaniel said Monday at the league meetings, via the Miami Herald's C. Isaiah Smalls II. "We are fully planning to move forward for a better version of our relationship with Tyreek."
As for Hill's social media messages, McDaniel indicated it could be the WR messing with fans.
Mike McDaniel on Tyreek Hill's recent apparent "peace out" emoji:" Tyreek has been in the building often. Tyreek is known for some antics on social media. We're in a good spot with Tyreek.

The relationship between Hill and the Dolphins could still be on shaky ground heading into 2025.
In a Week 18 loss to the New York Jets last season, Hill subbed himself out of the game in the third quarter. Afterward, the WR implied he was considering playing elsewhere, telling the Miami Herald's Omar Kelly, "I'm out, bro."
In February, Hill said he was frustrated when he made those comments and wants to stay with the franchise, via Pro Football Talk's Charean Williams.
Hill — entering the second year of a three-year, $90M deal in 2025 — remains one of the league's premier players. Since the Kansas City Chiefs traded him to Miami in March 2022, he has earned two first-team All-Pro nods.
Meanwhile, the Dolphins still haven't become one of the AFC's elite teams. Over the past three seasons, Miami has made two playoff appearances but has won no postseason games. In 2024, it went 8-9 and missed the playoffs.
McDaniel's comments should quiet the trade rumors. But if Miami struggles next season, Hill's future with the Dolphins could become more uncertain.
