Memphis Grizzlies forward Jaylen Wells was taken off the court on a stretcher Tuesday after suffering a nasty fall during his team’s game against the Charlotte Hornets at Spectrum Center in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Wells was going up for a dunk in transition with his Grizzlies leading the Hornets 60-44 with 1:11 left in the second quarter. KJ Simpson ran into Wells and fouled him, which caused Wells to rotate parallel to the ground and hit his head when he fell.
Here is the full moment captured by the Hornets broadcast team.
