Tyler Ankrum won Friday's NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race at Rockingham Speedway, earning the second win of his career and his first since 2019.
It's been 2,108 days since Ankrum's Truck Series win at Kentucky Speedway on July 11, 2019, but on Friday evening, he had just enough fuel to coast across the finish line in the first Truck Series race at Rockingham since 2013.

Ankrum last pitted on Lap 112 of 200, and as Chandler Smith — who was running second — ran out of fuel behind him, Ankrum coasted to victory having led 29 laps.
Ankrum parked his No. 18 Chevrolet on the start-finish line and waved to the crowd before collecting the checkered flag and having his crew push him to Victory Lane.
"I just found something there where I was pretty much lifting about 60 percent down the straightaway," Ankrum told Fox Sports regarding his fuel-saving efforts. "It's surreal, I feel like this is how it went down in 2019 at Kentucky."
The 24-year-old from San Bernadino, California, was surrounded by a jubilant pit crew as he celebrated.
Polesitter Jake Garcia finished runner-up, with Daniel Hemric, Rajah Caruth and Grant Enfinger rounding out the top-five. Kaden Honeycutt, Jack Wood, Corey Heim, Connor Mosack and Gio Ruggiero completed the top-10.
Other notable finishers included Layne Riggs in 11th, Smith in 13th, Toni Breidinger in 18th, Ty Majeski in 31st and Ben Rhodes in 32nd.
Heim led 52 consecutive laps in Stage 3 before he was forced to pit in order to take on fuel.
"Thought we were really good all day," Heim told Fox Sports. "Felt like if we would've had track position we would've been in position for a really good day."
The Truck Series is off next weekend before starting a stretch of six consecutive race weekends at Texas Motor Speedway on May 2. The SpeedyCash.com 250 will go green shortly after 8 p.m. ET, with coverage on FS1, MRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.
