Watch: The New Day returns to top of the mountain at WrestleMania 41

For the first time in over two years, The New Day has returned to the top of the men's tag team division.

They defeated the War Raiders for the WWE World Tag Team Championships. It is the 12th time that The New Day has been tag team champions in their illustrious careers.

A back-and-forth match between the two teams ended with The New Day ending the War Raiders' tag team championship reign at 110 days.

The New Day already held the record for the most tag team championship reigns in WWE history with 11. Their 12th only separates them further and puts them even more in discussions as the greatest tag team of all-time.

As shown in the video above, the finish of the match wasn't the cleanest or most legal thing in terms of wrestling, so it won't be much of a surprise to see a rematch between the two teams on "Monday Night Raw."

An outside possibility on Monday would be NXT tag team Fraxiom making their main roster debut and challenging The New Day for the championships.
