Doncic scored the first six points of the game on his way to 16 first-quarter points against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Saturday. He shot 5-of-10 and sank three three-pointers, and when he missed one, he got the offensive board and turned it into a Rui Hachimura triple.

It's an unpleasant flashback to last season's Western Conference Finals for the Timberwolves, who lost in five games to Doncic's Dallas Mavericks. In that series, Doncic averaged 32.4 points against the NBA's No. 1 defense and made 43.4 percent of his three-pointers.
The Timberwolves looked thrilled when Doncic finally sat to start the second quarter. They started with a 12-2 run with Doncic on the bench, grabbing a lead.
