Watch: Yankees open game with three straight home runs ... again

The New York Yankees are at it again. By "it" we mean clubbing home runs at a ridiculous pace.

They opened Tuesday's game against the Baltimore Orioles by hitting back-to-back-to-back home runs from Trent Grisham, Aaron Judge and Ben Rice.

If this sounds familiar to you, it is because it is the second time this season the Yankees have opened a game by hitting three consecutive home runs. They also did it in their second game of the season against the Milwaukee Brewers when they hit consecutive three home runs off former teammate Nestor Cortes.

According to the Yankees' YES broadcast, they are the first team in Major League history to open a game with three consecutive home runs in multiple games in the same season.

Keep in mind, it is still only April.

Here is a look at Tuesday's trio:

They did not stop there.

After Paul Goldschmidt, the fourth batter of the game, made the first out, outfielder Cody Bellinger clubbed the Yankees' fourth home run of the inning to add on to the lead.

They would eventually add a double, a triple and a single in the inning to jump out to an early 5-0 lead.

In the second inning, Rice hit his second home run of the game to open up a 6-0 lead.

The Yankees entered Tuesday's game second in the MLB with 45 home runs, trailing the Los Angeles Dodgers by just one. This early outburst put them back into the top spot.

Whether it is the torpedo bats, or the fact the Yankees just have a lot of mashers in their lineup, or a combination of the two they are one of the fiercest lineups in the league this season. They showed it again on Tuesday.
