Oklahoma City held the Memphis Grizzlies scoreless for nearly five straight minutes in the second quarter as part of a 34-5 run that blew open Game 1 of their first-round series. The Thunder had six steals, forced 12 turnovers and limited the Grizzlies to 2-for-18 shooting on three-pointers. Meanwhile, the Thunder shot 17-for-27 on two-pointers, thanks to a lot of dunks.

Perhaps the Grizzlies were tired with the short turnaround between defeating the Dallas Mavericks Friday night and playing the Thunder in the earliest Sunday playoff game. Or perhaps the Thunder are just that dominant, as their +12.9 point differential in the regular season indicated.
If the Grizzlies thought the halftime break would help them collect themselves, they were mistaken. The Thunder scored the first 12 points of the second half and with 17 minutes left, they had a 50-point lead.
Game 1 was over by halftime. The Grizzlies have to hope the series isn't over as well.
