White hit seven three-pointers and scored 30 points in the Celtics' 103-86 win in the opener of their series with the Orlando Magic. While Tatum shot 8-for-22 and Brown went 6-for-14, White was 10-for-18, adding two blocks and a steal.
Orlando managed to hang with the Celtics for a half, thanks to Paolo Banchero and his 19 points (he finished with 36). But in the second half, Boston turned up the defense, holding Orlando scoreless for the first three minutes. For the first 5:49 of the third, White was outscoring Orlando by himself in the quarter.

The Celtics may be concerned about Tatum going forward, as he fell awkwardly on his wrist after a flagrant foul from Kentavious Caldwell-Pope.
