Watch: Twins' Byron Buxton saves game with stunning game-winning catch

When you look at the box score of the Minnesota Twins' 4-2 win over the Chicago White Sox on Tuesday night, it's going to say that Jhoan Duran got the save. Technically, and by the rules of baseball, he did.

But everybody that watched that game knows it was actually center fielder Byron Buxton that saved the game thanks to an incredible diving catch that not only ended the game with the third out, but also prevented the White Sox from tying the game.

With two outs and two runners in scoring position, Chicago's Andrew Benintendi cracked a fly ball deep into the right center field gap that looked like it had a chance to split the outfielders and tie the game.

Buxton had other ideas:

When Buxton is healthy he is an All-Star level player and a cornerstone piece for the Twins. Plays like that, combined with his bat, are why.

The only problem is injuries have sidetracked a significant portion of his career. That play is a reminder as to what he can do.
