Happy 60th birthday to San Antonio Spurs legend David “The Admiral,” Robinson!
The Spurs drafted Robinson with the first-overall pick in the 1987 NBA Draft out of the United States Naval Academy, and once he returned from his military service, Robinson rewarded the franchise with 10 All-Star selections, eight All-Defensive selections, the 1989-90 Rookie of the Year award, 1991-92 Defensive Player of the Year Award, 1994-95 MVP and two NBA titles.
He also stuck around long enough to help mentor the team’s next No. 1-overall pick to become a Hall-of-Famer in Wake Forest’s Tim Duncan.
Which brings us to today’s quiz. Robinson was one of the most dominant individual players of his generation and a cornerstone of Spurs history. With that being said, can you name the player with the most points scored in a game for each NBA franchise?
Good luck!
