Could the Raiders look to improve their trenches in the first round?

There are several paths the Las Vegas Raiders could choose when the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft kicks off Thursday from Green Bay.

The Raiders hold the No. 6 pick, and they could ultimately decide to trade back. If they stick at six, however, many mock drafts have them going with Boise State running back Ashton Jeanty.

But a few other scenarios could emerge.

If Jeanty is available at No. 6, he'd be hard to pass up considering the dynamic force he'd bring to the offense, but oddsmakers now have him the favorite to be plucked right before the Raiders pick. DraftKings lists the Jacksonville Jaguars, holding the No. 5 pick, as the betting favorites to draft Jeanty at +110, with the Raiders second at +145.

Also, in a story published Wednesday, The Athletic's Diana Russini said the Raiders may be leaning another direction — even if Jeanty is still on the board

"The Raiders, led by first-time general manager John Spytek, spent substantial time doing homework on Boise State RB Ashton Jeanty, but strong cases are being made in their draft room to go offensive line instead," she wrote.

Meanwhile, another need could force them down a third road.

If Jeanty's not the pick, here are two players the Raiders could choose from once they are on the clock:

DT Mason Graham, Michigan

Graham earns strong consideration given what Sportskeeda consulting editor and NFL Draft analyst Tony Pauline wrote about the status of Raiders defensive tackle Christian Wilkins.

"I'm told there is serious concern over a foot injury Christian Wilkins has been dealing with since last season," Pauline wrote. "Wilkins underwent surgery to fix a Jones fracture he suffered in Week 5 and was placed on injured reserve, missing the remainder of the season. He may need to have an additional procedure on the foot."

It would be a big blow if Wilkins misses significant time after signing a four-year deal worth $110M.

Insert Graham, who is listed at 6-foot-3 and 296 pounds. He can give the Raiders what they'd be missing without Wilkins. Graham finished with 46 tackles last season and 3.5 sacks. NFL analyst Lance Zierlein even lists Wilkins as Graham's NFL comparison.

OT Armand Membou, Missouri

There is also uncertainty what will happen with incumbent left tackle Kolton Miller. Will the Raiders trade him? Will his struggles because of foot problems linger into the 2025 season? Miller wasn't himself last season while giving up eight sacks.

The longest-tenured Raider is skipping voluntary workouts as he waits for a contract extension, according to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler.

That could push the Raiders to go with Membou, listed at 6-foot-4 and 332 pounds. There is no guarantee that Membou would be an immediate starter, but if Miller departs, the team might have to adopt a work-in-progress mentality along an offensive line that overall did play well last season.
