Former Arizona State star Cam Skattebo has fulfilled his dream of being drafted by an NFL team, and it was easy to see how much the moment meant to him.
The New York Giants selected Skattebo in the fourth round (No. 105 overall) of the NFL Draft on Saturday. Skattebo was watching the event with his family and friends, and he could not hold back the tears after receiving the phone call from the Giants and hearing his name called.

Skattebo was one of the most exciting players in college football last season. He rushed for 1,711 yards and 21 touchdowns while helping lead Arizona State to the College Football Playoff. Skattebo also had 605 receiving yards and three touchdown catches.
Prior to the draft, Skattebo shared a great social media post that showed how long he has been fantasizing about being drafted by an NFL team.

Despite his outstanding numbers in college, Skattebo was not viewed by NFL teams as one of the best players at his position. There were a total of seven running backs drafted ahead of Skattebo, which will likely serve as motivation for him at the next level. That should be great news for the Giants.
