Don't be stunned if these five undrafted free agents make their teams

The 2025 NFL Draft in Green Bay is over, but not every player heard their name called during the three-day event.

Now, these prospects will aim to make their team as undrafted free agents. While it's a more difficult path, several of these players have made their mark in the NFL. Look at Hall of Fame quarterback Kurt Warner, who went undrafted in 1994.

With that in mind, here are five players who will likely make their new teams:

Tennessee Titans WR Xavier Restrepo

Restrepo signed with the Tennessee Titans, where he will reunite with Miami teammate QB Cam Ward, the No. 1 pick of the draft. The WR played with Ward in his final season at Miami, becoming one of his most trustworthy targets.

In 12 games in 2024, the 23-year-old wideout had 69 receptions for 1,127 yards and 11 touchdown catches.

According to Fox Sports' Jordan Schultz, Ward was "a major advocate" for the WR. Restrepo's rapport with the QB could help him make the 53-man roster.

Plus, the Titans air attack could use more weapons after finishing 26th in the league in passing yards (195.1) in 2024.

Atlanta Falcons CB Cobee Bryant

The Atlanta Falcons may feel they signed a potential steal in Bryant. In four seasons with Kansas, he earned three first-team All-Big 12 selections.

"Some NFL teams won't be able to reconcile the slight frame and average speed, but Bryant's decisive reactor, ball skills and dog mentality are promising ingredients at the position," The Athletic's Dane Brugler wrote in a story published Saturday. "He can press, although he is the best in zone and off coverage."

In the draft, the Falcons selected Oklahoma safety Billy Bowman Jr. and Notre Dame safety Xavier Watts but didn't take a corner.

Atlanta's 22nd-ranked passing defense (224.5) needs more secondary help, which only increases Bryant's chances of making the roster.

Dallas Cowboys WR Traeshon Holden

Before the draft, Cowboys executive vice president Stephen Jones said they were looking for an "explosive" No. 2 WR, via The Athletic's Jon Machota. For some reason, they didn't select a wideout during the draft.

Holden probably won't be a No. 2 WR behind CeeDee Lamb, but climbing the depth chart may not pose a massive challenge for the 23-year-old.

In 2024, Lamb was the only Cowboy who finished with 1,000 receiving yards or more. WR Brandin Cooks signed a two-year, $13M deal with the New Orleans Saints in free agency, which further depleted Dallas' thin receiving corps.

Holden could be a solid addition for Dallas. In five seasons with Alabama and Oregon, he had 128 receptions for 1,740 yards and 18 TD catches.

Las Vegas Raiders edge-rusher Jah Joyner

One key reason the Raiders went 4-13 in 2024 was their inability to rush the passer. Outside of star edge-rusher Maxx Crosby — who had 7.5 sacks in 12 games — no Raider finished with five sacks or more.

Since being drafted No. 7 overall in 2023, edge-rusher Tyree Wilson has not met expectations, recording just eight sacks in two seasons. Fellow edge-rusher Malcolm Koonce tore his ACL just before the start of the 2024 season.

The Raiders' questions at edge-rusher should give Joyner plenty of opportunities to prove himself throughout the offseason.

In five seasons at Minnesota, he had only 18 tackles for loss, and thus, he still seems raw. However, he could blossom under new Raiders head coach Pete Carroll, a defensive guru.

Cincinnati Bengals center Seth McLaughlin

Protecting quarterback Joe Burrow is paramount for the Cincinnati Bengals, considering his injury history. He tore his ACL during his rookie season in 2020 and suffered a season-ending right wrist injury in 2023.

The 2024 Comeback Player of the Year played 17 games in 2024 but got pummeled throughout the season. He took 48 sacks, which tied for the league's fourth-highest mark.

McLaughlin missed the final six games of the 2024 season with an Achilles injury. However, signing the Ohio State star could still work out for the Bengals.

McLaughlin won the 2024 Rimington Trophy as college football's best center. Per Pro Football Focus, the second-team All-American allowed no sacks in 10 games last season.

Clark Dalton

Dalton is a 2022 journalism graduate of the University of Texas at Austin. He gained experience in sports media over the past seven years — from live broadcasting and creating short films to podcasting and producing. In college, he wrote for The Daily Texan. He loves sports and enjoys hiking, kayaking and camping.
