All his antics aside, it's undeniable that Draymond Green is one of the greatest defensive players of the 21st century.
The eight-time All-Defensive ace has wreaked havoc on the Rockets offense through the first four games of their playoff series. As the primary defender, Green has contained Alperen Sengun to 37.1 percent shooting (13-of-35), Jalen Green to 18.2 percent (2-of-11), Fred VanVleet to 28.6 percent (2-of-7) and Amen Thompson to 33.3 percent (3-of-9) thus far.
In Monday's Game 4 win, Green again proved why he's truly a man among boys. The Rockets made a concerted effort to exploit the undersized Warriors by running plays for 7-footer Alperen Sengun, who attempted a career-high 28 shots. Furthermore, Houston routinely went to double-big lineups also featuring the bruising Steven Adams.
Green, standing at all of 6-foot-6, wasn't intimidated in the least. He single-handedly slowed down Sengun, who shot 9-of-16 against all other Warriors, but managed only 3-of-12 against Green.
As with any other vintage Green game, it wasn't devoid of extracurricular activities. The veteran forward picked up a flagrant foul for an altercation with Tari Eason and did everything else possible to throw the young Rockets off their rhythm.

Warriors head coach Steve Kerr made a telling comment about Green, calling him the best defender he had ever seen.
"He's the best defender I've ever seen in my life," Kerr said of Green. "And he rises to the occasion. On top of being a great defender, he's an incredible competitor. I've seen it for 11 years — with the game on the line, Draymond Green making a stop is like having Steph Curry take the shot."
It's a noteworthy claim considering Kerr played alongside Dennis Rodman, Tim Duncan, Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen.
