We have heard a lot about the football career of Randy Moss’ older son Thaddeus, but Randy also has a younger son who is getting a shot with an NFL team.
Montigo Moss, who played wide receiver at Maine, has accepted an invitation to attend the Minnesota Vikings’ rookie minicamp. This has a familiar feel for fans since Randy was drafted by the Vikings in 1998 and played with them through 2004.
Montigo had 61 catches for 722 yards and seven touchdowns at Maine last season while receiving all-conference honors. He had 143 catches for 1,692 yards and 16 touchdowns, plus a rushing TD, over his Maine career.
Montigo is listed in his Maine Bears profile as being 6-foot-1 and 220 pounds.
