New York Knicks point guard Jalen Brunson was the NBA's Clutch Player of the Year, and he proved everyone right once again as he took out the Detroit Pistons in Game 6 to send New York to Round 2 of the NBA playoffs.
The whole game was a virtuoso performance for Brunson, but it was the final shot that's going to make all of his highlight reels when he's retired and done breaking ankles in the NBA.
Tied up at 113-113 with just seconds on the clock, Brunson squared up with Detroit's best defender, Ausar Thompson, made an incredible move to get plenty of separation and put up a beautiful 25-foot three pointer that ultimately won the game and the series for the Knicks.

Detroit had a chance on the last possession to try to send the game into overtime, but the Pistons couldn't even get a shot off as a Cade Cunningham pass bounced off Malik Beasley and went out of bounds.
That shot will go down in Knicks' history, but the totality of Brunson's Game 6 performance is worth remembering as well. He finished with 40 points, seven assists and four rebounds.
The Knicks won the series, 4-2, and now advance to the Eastern Conference semifinals to take on the defending-champion Boston Celtics.
