Myles Turner didn't make his first three-pointer until the final minute of Tuesday's Game 5. His timing couldn't have been better.

PACERS ADVANCE TO THEIR SECOND-STRAIGHT EASTERN CONFERNCE FINALS ‼️ pic.twitter.com/aeN0cysZJF
Turner's three-pointer gave the Indiana Pacers a nine-point lead in the final seconds and finished off their 114-105 win. The Pacers won their second-round series, 4-1, against the heavily favored, 64-18 Cleveland Cavaliers.
The Pacers return to the Eastern Conference Finals for the second straight season, the first time they've done that since 2013 and 2014. Turner has been with the Pacers since 2015, enduring first-round playoff losses in each of his first five seasons. Not only did he experience a lot of losing, but he was in trade rumors for much of that time.
Now Turner is the anchor for a Pacers defense that held the Cavaliers under 110 points for their final two losses, well below their season average of 121.9 points. The Pacers are known for their offense, but they've been a top-10 defense since the start of 2025.
Turner finished the series outplaying the Cavaliers big man Jarrett Allen, averaging 16.2 points, 7.2 rebounds and blocking 2.8 shots per game. He shot 56.3 percent on threes, extremely solid numbers for an NBA center.
Now he's an unrestricted free agent this summer, meaning this postseason could be his final games in a Pacers uniform. But thanks to his efforts, there's going to be at least one more series.
