Bill Belichick has allowed his relationship with girlfriend Jordon Hudson to spill over into his professional life, and it appears that is very much by design.
Belichick recently sat down for an interview with Michael Strahan that aired during Friday morning’s edition of “Good Morning America” on ABC. The two NFL legends mostly discussed football, but Strahan eventually got to the topic that viewers were probably most interested in — Belichick’s 24-year-old girlfriend.
Strahan, who noted that Hudson was not present for the interview, asked Belichick for his thoughts on the attention his dating life has received. The 73-year-old spoke about the role Hudson played in his book “The Art of Winning: Lessons from a Life in Football,” which was published earlier this month.
“She’s been terrific, you know, through the whole process. She’s been very helpful to me. She does the business things that don’t relate to North Carolina that come up in my life, so I can concentrate on football,” Belichick said. “That’s really what I want to do. I acknowledged her in the book. She was very helpful on that with the tribute pages and also giving a perspective of the book from kind of a business side. Sometimes I get a little football-technical, so she did a good job of keeping me on balance there.”
Strahan then pressed and asked what Hudson means to Belichick. The six-time Super Bowl champion quickly shut the question down.
“We have a good personal relationship. I’m not talking about personal relationships, Michael, you know that,” Belichick said with a laugh.
You can see the exchange at around the 8:07 mark:

Hudson and Belichick have been dating for quite some time, and Hudson operates as something of a public relations manager for the North Carolina coach. That became more evident with the way Hudson awkwardly interrupted Belichick’s recent CBS interview. Hudson was also spotted on the UNC practice field last month and was said to be advising the school’s media team.
A report last week then claimed Hudson has been banned from UNC’s facility, but the school quickly denied that.
In a different interview earlier this week, Belichick seemed to try to distance Hudson from the UNC program.
