World No. 1 golfer Scottie Scheffler raced atop the leaderboard at the 2025 PGA Championship with an incredible eagle on the 14th hole.
Scheffler hit a nearly perfect tee shot on the par-4, 304-yard hole, landing two feet and nine inches from the hole.

Scheffler began the hole one stroke behind co-leaders Bryson DeChambeau, Alex Noren, Jhonattan Vegas and Davis Riley (7-under) but made his short putt attempt to go up one at 8-under.
Entering Sunday, Scheffler holds a three-stroke lead over Noren.
The two-time Masters champion is seeking his first career major outside of Augusta National. Scheffler was runner-up at the 2023 PGA Championship. In five previous appearances at the tournament (2020-24), Scheffler has four top-10 finishes (2020-21, 2023-24).
While he's been in range of winning the Wanamaker Trophy in previous years, Scheffler has never been closer than in 2025.
After his remarkable eagle gave him the lead on No. 14, Scheffler might never look back.
