Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark bookended a strong first half in the Fever's 2025 season opener against the Chicago Sky with a pair of threes, helping give Indiana a 45-32 halftime lead.
Clark notched her first make from deep less than two minutes into the game, drilling from 28 feet.

At halftime, Clark had a game-high 12 points and added four rebounds, three assists, three blocks and a steal.
The Fever led, 45-32.
Clark is coming off one of the greatest rookie seasons in WNBA history, setting the rookie record for points (769) and assists (337) and becoming the first rookie to record a triple-double.
She helped guide the Fever to the playoffs for the first time since 2016, and Indiana finished the regular season 20-20 after a 2-9 start.
Expectations are high for both Clark and the Fever in 2025. Per ESPN Bet, Clark entered the season as the favorite to win MVP (+200), while Indiana is tied with the Las Vegas Aces for the second-shortest odds (+350) to win the WNBA title.
Clark's limitless range is part of what makes her so special and the Fever so dangerous. Arguably, no team has greater hype entering the season. At least early, Clark and Fever are living up to it.
