Kyle Schwarber made sure his 300th career home run was one worth remembering.
Schwarber blasted a 3-2 pitch from Colorado Rockies reliever Scott Alexander an estimated 466 feet off the facade of the third deck at Coors Field, pushing the Philadelphia Phillies to a 7-3 lead in the ninth inning.

With the blast, Schwarber became the 11th active MLB player and just the 163rd player in MLB history to reach 300 homers. He also became the sixth player to reach the milestone in a Phillies uniform, joining Chuck Klein, Roy Sievers, Mike Schmidt, Ryan Howard and Bryce Harper.
The homer continued Schwarber's assault on left-handed pitching this season. So far, he has eight homers in 75 plate appearances against southpaws.
